I hate using 3rd party anything, but I just got my 2nd SNES Mini and it came with everything 1st party except for the AC Adapter. I'm going to order a 1st party one off of Amazon, but I was wondering if this thing would blow my system up or damage it in any way.

I was looking at the official AC Adapter, and it has these numbers:
Input: AC 120V 60Hz
Output: DC10V - 850mA

The 3rd party one that I have right now has these numbers:
Input: AC 120V 60Hz
Output: DC9V - 850mA

So the only difference is the DC9V as opposed to the DC10V used by the 1st party one. The guy at the store assured me he's never had a problem with them and has never had any returned, and he seemed to have a bunch of them. They didn't even have any first party ones available and he said that these are the ones that they use for all of their SNES systems.

Should I be worried about this thing?

You have any idea on a fix for an uncooperative controller? It just flat out "disconnects" on occasion when it's in the player 1 slot.darkspineslayer
